Cyber Threats: Discussing the latest security threats and threat actors
While there are no specific or credible cyber threats to the U.S. at this time, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which has involved cyber-attacks on Ukrainian government and critical infrastructure organizations, could impact organizations both within and beyond the region. Every organization - large and small - must be prepared to respond to disruptive cyber activity. This week on the Virtually Speaking Podcast we welcome VMware's head of Security Strategy, Tom Kellerman to discuss the latest security threats and threat actors.
Tom Kellermann is the Head of Cybersecurity Strategy for VMware Inc. Previously Tom held the position of Chief Cybersecurity Officer for Carbon Black Inc. Prior to joining Carbon Black, Tom was the CEO and founder of Strategic Cyber Ventures. In 2020, he was appointed to the Cyber Investigations Advisory Board for the United States Secret Service. On January 19, 2017, Tom was appointed the Wilson Center’s Global Fellow for Cyber Policy.
