What you need to know about Log4j

The discovery of the Log4j flaw last month spawned immediate alarm throughout the cyber world because of the enormous number of internet-connected systems it exposed to potential attacks.  This issue affects billions of systems, software packages, and devices globally, and attackers are weaponizing these vulnerabilities to spread ransomware, crypto miners, and all manner of malware. VMware has published & updated a security advisory, VMSA-2021-0028, in response to the open-source Java component Log4j vulnerabilities known as CVE-2021-44228, CVE-2021-45046, and CVE-2021-45105.  On this episode of Virtually Speaking, Pete and John welcome security expert Bob Plankers to discuss Log4j, and everything VMware customers need to know.
